Half-Life 2: Episode One

Über Half-Life 2 braucht man eigentlich keine Worte mehr zu verlieren. Die (DirectX9) Engine wurde immer weiter entwickelt, wir testen mit der Erweiterung "Episode One". Hier müssen Hauptfigur Gordon Freeman und Freundin Alyx Vance zunächst zusammen in die Zitadelle eindringen, um die Kernschmelze zu verlangsamen, und danach die Flucht aus der Stadt antreten.

Wir testen mit der Vollversion des Spiels in den höchstmöglichen Grafik-Einstellungen. Dabei wird das Benchmark-Tool von HOCBench verwendet.

In Half-Life 2 kommt die Radeon HD 4890 nicht an GeForce GTX 260 und 260+ vorbei, ist aber immerhin etwas schneller als die Radeon HD 4850 X2.
