@Mafia 3:
Ich fand das erste Mafia richtig klasse und auch den zweiten Teil mochte ich trotz seines Pseudo-Open-World-Ansatzes sehr. Da für Mafia 3 nun ein gänzlich anderer Entwickler bzw. ein neu gegründetes Entwicklerstudio zum Einsatz kommt, warte ich erstmal gespannt ab.

Ein paar Infos:
-Joe's fate will be explained, Vito returns
-protagonist: Lincoln Clay, complete orphan, Vietnam veteran
-you will fight agains the Italian mob
-you will get help from Cassandra (the afro woman) and Burke (man with moustache) as well as the returning Vito Scaletta
-you will be able to call them via a phone booth, as well as other kinds of support (snipers, drive-by)
-no coop
-your partners will only help in special missions, besides that, you are on your own
-late 60s / early 70s atmosphere in New Orleans (French Quarter, Jazz Bars, Rollings Stones)
-graphic is not as good as it looks in screenshots, textures are weak, lighting is good, facial animations seems unfinished (early gameplay version)
-"more focussed" than the Open World of GTAV
-side activities like clearing a gang hideout
-choices affect the world: do you let a informant run or not
-you will "conquer" the several districts of the map and then assign parts to administer to your friends, which one you choose will have different effects
-no "deep" economy system like in The Godfather 2
-you can shoot AND drive
-three-parted health bar with each individual bar regenerating over time
-different pistols, revolvers. shotguns and mps as weapons, as well as grenade(launchers)
-you can still sneak
-brutal takedowns are confirmed
-you can only carry two guns
-cannot pull bodies out of the way
-destructible environments
-AI does not seem stupid
-red arrows mark enemies


@Need For Speed:
Den Live-Action-Kram könnten sie sich meinetwegen gern sparen (im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes). Ich glaub ich bin einfach zu alt dafür. ;)

Soll neben der Xbox One auch für Windows 10 kommen. Entwickler ist Creative Assembly, was natürlich ein wenig Hoffnung macht, da Creative Assembly für die Total War Reihe verantwortlich ist. Allerdings hat sich Creative Assembly schon mal mit Stormrise an einem Konsolen-RTS versucht und hat eher bescheidene Kritiken geerntet. Aber vielleicht sind sie hiermit erfolgreicher.
Schade das Microsoft die Ensemble Studios nach Halo Wars (1) und Age Of Empires Online geschlossen hat. Denn HW1 war echt gelungen für ein Konsolen-RTS.
