Enthariel Games today announced that the Steam page for The Sky Project: Land of Noris is now live. Alongside it, the studio is revealing the first screenshots of a previously unseen region, the Abyssal Plane, and unveiling the definitive splash art that will represent the game going forward — including through its upcoming Kickstarter campaign.
The game is a hand-drawn, Nuzlocke-inspired monster collector RPG built around semi-open 2D exploration and fast-paced, 3v3 turn-based combat. Players explore a vast world split across four mythic planes connected by an eternal stream of mana, uncovering hidden areas, secret bosses, and rare relics along the way. Over 200 unique creatures, called Noris, can be collected, trained, and evolved — each with its own attacks and evolution paths, and real stakes in battle, since every Noris lost is gone for good. Players will also face more than 20 bosses, each with distinct mechanics of their own. The game is currently in development for Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
The Abyssal Plane is the deepest and darkest of the game’s four regions: a world of caves and depths, with diverse, alien vegetation and magic that seems to hang in the air. Fans of Hollow Knight’s atmosphere or the bioluminescent forests of James Cameron’s Avatar will find familiar notes in its look and feel — reimagined through Enthariel Games‘ hand-drawn style.
The splash art revealed today becomes the game’s definitive visual identity from here on, and will be the artwork carrying it into its upcoming Kickstarter campaign.
