Taipei, Taiwan, October 1, 2003 – XGI™ Technology Inc. today announced that Club-3D a leading supplier in Graphic Card Adapters has chosen XGI’s Volari™ graphic processors for its all new series of products. By early December, whole XGI Volari™ series product will be available throughout European market manufactured by Club-3D.
Recently announced from XGI headquarter in Taipei, Taiwan, this next-generation 3D graphics processor family brings the latest DirectX® 9.0 graphics features and image quality to users across the entire performance spectrum, while delivering real values to high-end, mainstream and entry-level desktop market segments alike.
Manufactured with latest high-performance 0.13um CMOS process technology, the Volari™ desktop product family includes Volari™ V8, Volari™ V5 and Volari™ V3 targeted for high-end, mainstream and entry-level markets, respectively. The Volari™ V8 operates the graphics engine clocks in excess of 350MHz and supports DDR-II memory at up to 500MHz clock rate (or 1000 MB/sec).
