(NASDAQ: ATYT; TSX: ATY) today announced the FireGL(tm) T2-128 workstation graphics accelerator is an Elite graphics option for the Intel® Pentium® 4/Xeon-based HP Workstation xw4100. With record Viewperf performance scores for an entry-level workstation solution, a high bandwidth, parallel processing architecture and hardware accelerated rendering capabilities, the FireGL(tm) accelerator dramatically increases productivity and decreases production time for mechanical design and digital content creation professionals running applications based on OpenGL® or Microsoft DirectX® 9.

Based on the most recent Viewperf scores submitted to the SPEC organization, the FireGL T2-128 outperforms similarly priced products on all benchmarks, averaging 65% faster than the competing offering. The innovative architecture of the FireGL T2-128, featuring dual geometry engines and quad rendering pipelines, packs a remarkable amount of graphics processing power. The FireGL T2-128 has 128MB of DDR memory, and supports dual display output through one VGA connector and one DVI-I connector.
