February,2008 – Thermaltake Technology today announced its newest line of power supply unit, TR2 QFan series, available in five models: 300W, 350W, 400W, 450W, 500W. TR2 QFan series is specially designed for 80Plus compliance while providing the lowest noise and considerable thermal dissipation for a PSU.

TR2 QFan series is equipped with a patented 140mm silent QFan to reduce the overall noise. The innovative QFan has a unique patented blade shape design and a 360X open frame, effectively reducing noise. Compared with standard cooling fans, QFans five-way air intake is designed to increase air flow and reduce the noise of wind shear.

Besides, as computers are getting more and more advanced, the power efficiency has become a major concern because a growing number of people are demanding for energy-saving PCs to lower their electricity bills. Thermaltakes environmental friendly TR2 QFan PSUs are all energy-efficient and 80Plus compliant, operating at an energy efficiency rate of over 80% to deliver full rated power output continuously.
