Leadtek Launches WinFast GT 610, GT 620 and GT 630 Graphics Cards Targeting Mainstream Users

Taipei, Taiwan, May 16, 2012 – Known globally for its R&D superiority in extreme visual graphics technology, Leadtek Research Inc., today launched the WinFast® GT 610, GT 620 and GT 630 SDDR3 1GB/2GB graphics cards at the same time for mainstream users.

The WinFast®GT 610 features a low profile designed for small spaces and improves heat dissipation with a bigger fan compared with the reference design. Fully supporting DirectX® 11, PhysX® and HDMI, WinFast®GT 610 delivers the high quality of Blue-ray 3D and HD DVD playback, with up to 2560 x 1600 resolution. WinFast® GT 610 graphics is well suited for a gorgeous entertainment center, making it ideal for living room PCs and media center PCs.

The WinFast® GT 620 graphics board is a PCI Express ATX form factor graphics add-in card based on the NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 620 (GF108) GPU, and is targeted as the high-performance midrange PC desktop graphics solution for PCI Express systems. It offers 1GB/2GB SDDR3 memory in 64-bit configuration and supports HDMI, Dual-Link DVI-I and D-Sub. Its exclusive 1.5 slots fan sink conducts the heat on GPU for a dramatic cool-down.

The WinFast® GT 630 provides an excellent core clock speed of up to 810 MHz; in addition, it features high speed 1024MB 128-bit SDDR3 memory and also has the same connectors as GT 620. With exclusive dual slots fan sink conducting the heat on GPU for an excellent cool-down, it provides a better thermal cooling solution. The use of all solid aluminum capacitors also provides ultra-high durability and stability even during overclocking.

For all these products, the NVIDIA® PhysX® technology adds an element of realism never before seen in gaming and 3D movies. Gamers experience dynamic PhysX® effects like blazing explosions, reactive debris, realistic water and life-like characters. Microsoft® DirectX® 11 Shader Model 5.0 and OpenGL 4.2 are fully supported. The new launch is especially targeted to customers concerned with great cost/performance value. Along with the new launch, Leadtek also unveils its new package design for the WinFast® GT series.
