In order to sustain the good name of Hi8 and deliver much better user experience, now Chuwi introduces the Hi8 Air, which runs on Windows 10 and Android 5.1 operating system.
And they try to convince us that the Chuwi Hi8 Air is an upgrade version of Chuwi Hi8 Pro and we think you should totally take a look.

Chuwi Hi8 Air will come with 8 inch size with resolution of 1920*1200 FHD, and the aspect ratio is 16:10.
Inside the device, it’s powered by Intel X5 Cherry Trail Z8350 processor with base frequency clock at 1.44 and turbo frequency clock at 1.92Ghz .

It will feature a metal chasis with space grey/silver finish on the surface, and all-metal around the frame, and it comes with OGS fully laminated LCD as well.

In terms of the storage, it’s 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC, also, it supports up to 128GB of TF card storage expansion.

The battery inside is 4000mAh and it comes with bluetooth 4.0 version. When it comes to the connectivity, it has 1*micro USB, 1*micro HDMI ( 1080P output ), and a 3.5 mm headphone jack for daily use .

And the accessories packed in the box, there are 5V/2A charger, OTG cable, and a bluetooth keyboard .

The specs sheet doesn’t seem strong compared to other latest tablet from Chuwi lineups like the SurBook Pro, Hi9 Air and Mini PC, so we can see clearly that it’s custom for the student groups, with that being said, we should expect a very decent price tag of it.
