Meet the Winners

  • 1st Place [Alex Banks]: Along the way, we’ve been observing closely to see how the final result of Alex’s work would turn out. Witnessing the craftsmanship, design, and aesthetics that go into these heatsinks in the process is magnificent. The first place is definitely deserving and Alex’s work should be a fine example and demonstration for aspiring modders to learn from.
    Congratulations on winning first place!
  • 2nd Place [Michael F Samsin]: This time around, Michael aimed to bring back the retro vibe by making a Johnny 5 mod inspired by the movie Short Circuit. It is fascinating to see such a well-conceptualized idea turned into reality while paying attention to all the details. That’s why your work stands out from the crowd.
  • 3rd Place [Sanjaya Bhanu]: Super impressive and gorgeous RAM mod from Sanjaya Bhanu. It is definitely one of the most well-crafted works we’ve ever seen and the amount of effort that is put into it is tremendous. Hooked up with his own custom code, bringing the lighting effects to its highest potential, the mod is undoubtedly one of a kind.
  • 3rd Place [Pakawat Chaiboonma]: Well-thought-out ideas combined with incredible designs, crafting skills, and the paintwork, the project “Elemental Series” is definitely one of our favorites with its custom unique-looking theme and details. Pakawat’s works are ingenious, and we hope to see more from you with different ideas blended with the new mods.

Event Review
Within a month, eight contestants from Australia, Greece, Hungary, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Philippines, the U.K., and the U.S.A. modified our TOUGHRAM XG memory modules to their own design. Participating modders were given a specific time frame to modify the RAM heatsinks, without changing the overall appearance and layout of the RAM itself. Contestants could only use our TOUGHRAM XG modules and were not allowed to add the ram to a motherboard or a PC build though they could create a stand or platform for the modules, but the overall modules must remain intact with the original design as the main focus.
