Cooler Master Launches MWE Gold V4 Series with GPU Shield for Smarter Power Delivery

Cooler Master, a global leader in PC components and tech lifestyle solutions, today announced the MWE Gold V4 series, a fully modular power supply designed for high-performance gaming and creator systems. Built to meet the demands of next-generation hardware, the MWE Gold V4 Series supports ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards and includes a native 12V-2×6 connector for the latest flagship graphics cards. The series offers 1000 W, 850 W and 750 W models.

The MWE Gold V4 Series introduces GPU Shield Intelligent Current Management, Cooler Master’s patent-pending technology designed to add a smarter layer of protection around one of the most valuable components in a modern PC. By detecting abnormal current, triggering active protection in real time, and providing LED-based alerts, GPU Shield helps users maintain safer, more stable power delivery during demanding workloads.

As GPUs and processors continue to push system requirements higher, power supplies are expected to do more than meet wattage targets. They must support platform changes, maintain stable output, and help users build with confidence. The MWE Gold V4 Series was developed with that expectation in mind, delivering efficient, modern power backed by features aimed at performance, durability, and peace of mind.

In addition to GPU Shield, the MWE Gold V4 Series uses a digital control IC for more precise tuning of PFC and LLC, helping improve overall efficiency compared to the previous series. The unit is also 80 Plus Gold certified, achieving more than 90% efficiency at typical loads in a 115V test environment.

To support long-term stability, the MWE Gold V4 Series includes a wave-type heatsink design to improve internal airflow and heat dissipation, a quiet design for quieter operation, and protective coating to keep internal components safe. The unit is backed by a 10-year warranty.
