Lethal Wedding’s Kickstarter Stretch Goals Include Art and Music from LucasArts & Zombies Ate My Neighbors Legends Team Fat and Bill Tiller

Following its clown-crushing Kickstarter launch, which saw the game fully funded in 90 minutes and now past 250% of its goal, Mega Cat Studios is today revealing the stretch goals for Lethal Wedding, the upcoming top-down co-op run-and-gun shooter for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive.

As a love letter to 80s action cinema and LucasArts’ 1993 cult classic co-op shooter Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Lethal Wedding’s Kickstarter goals couldn’t be more fitting. Bill Tiller, the celebrated LucasArts artist who appeared as a hidden character in Zombies Ate My Neighbors, has crafted a gloriously pulpy exclusive key art for the game that leans into the spooky, over-the-top theme. Additionally, Team Fat, the composers behind the iconic Zombies Ate My Neighbors soundtrack, have returned with exclusive tracks for Lethal Wedding’s OST.

$45,000 — Bill Tiller Special Key Art Cover: LucasArts legend Bill Tiller — the artist behind the iconic visuals of The Curse of Monkey Island, The Dig, and Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, and a hidden character in ZAMN — has crafted exclusive key art for Lethal Wedding. If this goal is met, all physical edition backers will be able to choose a cover as an alternate for their copy, and every Limited Edition backer will receive a poster of the key art as a free bonus.

$50,000 — Fatman and Team Fat Deluxe OST CD: A collection of clown coffin-crushing chiptunes pressed to disk, this CD release from legendary VGM composers George Sanger and Joe McDermott of Team Fat will be a collector’s piece in its own right. If met, all backers will also receive a digital copy of the FAT coloring book for free.

$60,000 — Nintendo Switch Port: Take the big top bloodbath wherever you go or slay away on the big screen. Lethal Wedding comes to Nintendo Switch.

$70,000 — Xbox Port: The bride and her mother-in-law bring a double-barrelled blast of co-op thrills to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

$80,000 — PlayStation Port: A clown car full of carnage races onto PS4 & PS5.

Note: the current-gen ports of Lethal Wedding will be developed after the Mega Drive / Genesis fulfillment and won’t be available during the campaign.​
