Team Group Inc., a global leader in memory and storage solutions, today announced that its T-CREATE EXPERT Ai CQDIMM DDR5 Desktop Memory has won the GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2026. Designed for creators running generative AI locally, the EXPERT Ai CQDIMM DDR5 is the world’s first DDR5 CQDIMM desktop memory to offer a capacity of 128GB per module. Combining an independent clock driver【1】with patented IC grading verification technology【2】, it delivers a default data rate of 8,000 MT/s at the JEDEC-standard voltage of 1.1V without overclocking. A two-slot configuration provides a total capacity of 256GB, overcoming memory capacity limitations and enabling creators to reliably handle larger AI workloads for a smoother, more flexible creative experience.

Established in 1957, the GOOD DESIGN AWARD employs a rigorous, multistage evaluation process. Entries are assessed from four perspectives—human, industry, society, and time—with consideration given to design philosophy, user experience, and long-term value. For multiple consecutive years, TEAMGROUP has received this award recognizing outstanding designs that improve people’s lives. The EXPERT Ai CQDIMM DDR5 continues T-CREATE’s minimalist design approach, balancing aesthetics with practical functionality. By integrating creators’ needs for high performance, low power consumption, and large capacity into its design, it offers a desktop memory solution tailored to local AI computing. Recognized by an international panel of design experts, the EXPERT Ai CQDIMM DDR5 demonstrates TEAMGROUP’s expertise in addressing creators’ needs through technological innovation.

Combining innovation with practical applications, the EXPERT Ai CQDIMM DDR5 is optimized for the 2-DIMM/1SPC topology of Intel Z890 platforms. It supports a wide range of demanding workloads, including large language model inference, 4K/8K content creation, and 3D rendering, while its perforated heat spreader【3】helps address cooling requirements during extended operation. Whether for AI developers, 3D animators, or content creators, its stable performance enables users to handle compute-intensive workloads with confidence and unlock limitless creative potential.

【Notes】

【1】The clock driver (CKD) significantly enhances memory performance and stability, pushing beyond traditional UDIMM overclocking bottlenecks to ensure smooth, stable system operation under heavy workloads.

【2】These high-performance DDR5 memory modules were developed using patented IC grading verification technology. Taiwan Invention Patent: I751093; U.S. Patent No. US11488679B1, titled “Method for Grading a Memory.”

【3】The aluminum-alloy heat spreader features a perforated structure that promotes heat dissipation and effectively manages temperature increases, helping sustain module performance while maintaining a slim form factor suited to AI PCs.
