Das Unternehmen feiert damit die Einführung des ersten Prozessors mit x86-Architektur im Jahr 1978. Der Core i7-8086K ist der erste Intel Prozessor, der bis zu 5,0 GHz Turbofrequenz eines einzelnen CPU-Kerns bietet. The 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8086K processor celebrates Intel’s introduction of the first processor in the x86 series and the first 8086 microprocessor. Introduced on June 8, 1978, the original 8086 was the first 16-bit processor and the first processor capable of modern personal computing.
Why It’s Important: The new Intel Core i7-8086K processor delivers a fresh series of firsts. It features Intel’s first 6-core, 12-threads and integrated graphics in an 1151-pin package supporting a 64-bit instruction set.
