Kitaria Fables 2 Unveiled at the Galaxies Spring Showcase

Return to the magical world of Kitaria! PQube officially revealed Kitaria Fables 2 at today’s Galaxies Spring Showcase, following the success of the original game that sold 400,000 copies globally. Developed by Secret Level Studios and Twin Hearts, the wholesome action RPG packed with farming and crafting is slated to launch digitally on PC (via Steam®), PlayStation® 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch™ 2.

A charming new trailer was released to celebrate the announcement, introducing the game’s two new heroes as well as showcasing the vibrant Arkadera Peninsula region.

Set after the events of 2021’s Kitaria Fables, the highly anticipated sequel follows two new heroes, the ambitious Royal Army ‘Pathfinder’ Alice Skylar and plucky local guide Dusty Tuftkin, on an intrepid adventure across the mysterious new Arkadera Peninsula region. Players will develop unique combat skills for each character, gather precious materials, and forge powerful items, all while tending to their growing farm – either alone or together with friends via online-play or couch co-op.

Evolving from the previous game, Kitaria Fables 2 features a new unfixed camera offering a greater view of the world, reduced grinding with the introduction of larger environments, better fast travel and experienced-based levelling, alongside deeper farming with more crops to grow and a farmstead to rebuild to create a more immersive adventure for players.

Across the great expanse of the Endless Ocean lies the Arkadera Peninsula, a distant region that once marked the western edge of the Empire. As the years passed and the Empire’s presence began to fade, the outposts that once protected Arkadera’s citizens were gradually reclaimed by nature, leaving behind a small community to take refuge in the walled haven of Whitewall Town.

Eager to prove their skills in the field, ambitious Royal Army ‘Pathfinder’ Alice Skylar and plucky local guide Dusty Tuftkin join up with the Royal Academy Expedition Team on its mission to reopen Whitewall Town’s fabled errand house, explore the wide peninsula, and restore the long-forgotten outposts.

But as the expedition journeys farther into the north, rumours of a mysterious figure deep within the wilderness slowly begin to surface…
