Cooler Master Launches V8 ACE 3DHP, a Single-Tower CPU Air Cooler Engineered for Dual-Tower-Class Performance

Cooler Master, a global leader in PC components and thermal management solutions, today launched the V8 ACE 3DHP, its flagship single-tower CPU air cooler built around Cooler Master’s patented 3D Heat Pipe (3DHP) technology.

Engineered for high-end cooling performance on high-TDP processors, the V8 ACE 3DHP is designed for premium workstations, gaming systems, 3D rendering, video exports, and AI model training workloads, bringing Cooler Master’s patented heat pipe architecture to flagship air cooling.

According to Cybenetics’ performance database at the time of publication, the V8 ACE 3DHP is rated the #1 single-tower air cooler and #2 air cooler overall, an independent, third-party benchmark of the cooler’s performance, outperforming many larger, more cumbersome dual-tower designs. The ranking was achieved with the AMD platform variant, which leads every single-tower cooler the lab has tested.

As modern CPUs continue to draw more power under sustained workloads, air cooling must move heat more efficiently without adding unnecessary size, weight, or RAM clearance issues. The V8 ACE 3DHP addresses that challenge with a robust footprint measuring 138.95 x 136.47 x 167.3 mm and a net weight of 1334g.
It features a hybrid layout composed of 2x 3DHP and 4x conventional heat pipes paired with a dense aluminum fin stack, significantly improving heat transfer from the CPU hotspot. The result is a single-tower cooler engineered to deliver dual-tower-class performance in a cleaner, more compatible footprint. A tool-free sliding fan mechanism lets the front fan glide outward without removing any brackets, preserving full, unobstructed access to premium high-profile memory kits — solving the RAM clearance trade-off that typically comes with oversized air coolers.

Driving air through this advanced heatsink is a dual-fan configuration utilizing premium 120 x 120 x 30 mm PWM fans constructed with Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) to eliminate blade flex and maximize airflow. The system relies on two uniquely optimized fans:

• Front Fan: Operates at speeds of 0-2500 ± 250 RPM, delivering a maximum airflow of 152.23 m³/h (89.6 CFM) and a maximum air pressure of 3.85 mmH2O, with a peak noise level of 37 dB(A).
• Rear Fan: Operates at speeds of 0-2050 ± 250 RPM, delivering a maximum airflow of 103.64 m³/h (61.0 CFM) and a maximum air pressure of 2.0 mmH2O, with a peak noise level of 34 dB(A).

Both fans feature Loop Dynamic Bearings, ensuring an exceptional MTTF of over 200,000 hours. Thanks to this architecture, the cooler balances high-performance airflow with a controlled acoustic profile rated at 38 dBA overall system noise.

Visually inspired by the raw, mechanical presence of a high-performance V8 engine, the cooler uses a striking, non-LED industrial design that complements premium builds with a clean, sophisticated look. To guarantee structural stability and specialized thermal contact, Cooler Master has engineered platform-optimized variants. Each version features dedicated premium metal mounting brackets: the Intel models support LGA 1851, 1700, 1200, 1151, 1150, 1155, and 1156 sockets, while the AMD models support AM5 and AM4 sockets. The launch extends Cooler Master’s “Thermal Authority” positioning to the desktop: the same 3D heat pipe engineering principles refined for high-density AI and server cooling environments now anchor the company’s flagship consumer air cooler.
