VUEROID, a leading high-resolution dashcam technology brand, announced today independent testing showing that VUEROID dash cams keep working, even in extreme temperatures common during scorching summers throughout the US.
According to Ben Del Grosso, Safe Drive Solutions, a mobile electronics installer based in Canada, dash cams are even hotter in parked vehicles than while driving, and if a dash cam shuts down during a heat wave, it will not capture footage if the car is damaged or hit while parked.
VUEROID Keeps Working Even at 210+ Degrees
Del Grosso conducted a controlled heat test using a VUEROID dash cam inside a calibrated oven equipped with temperature probes to simulate the extreme conditions of a vehicle parked under direct sunlight. During testing, the dash cam continued operating, even when the measured internal temperature exceeded 210°F (99°C) thanks to VUEROID’s proprietary DURASHIFT™ Heat Management Technology.
Rather than shutting down under extreme heat, DURASHIFT™ Heat Management Technology automatically transitions the dash cam into Extreme Low Power Mode (ELPM), dramatically reducing power consumption and internal heat generation while remaining ready to record when impact is detected. This ingenious approach allows the dash cam to remain accessible when conventional dash cams stop operating because of excessive heat.
DURASHIFT™ Heat Management Technology is available across VUEROID’s latest product lineup, including the S1 4K Infinite, S1 QHD Infinite, and the upcoming D22 4K, providing reliable parking protection even during extreme summer temperatures.
