The wait is over for everyone who pressed „Notify Me“: the Kickstarter campaign for The Sky Project: Land of Noris is live today. Enthariel Games is opening it with two reveals. The first, shown for the very first time alongside the launch, is the game’s final Kickstarter trailer. The second came one day earlier: an exclusive reward, a console developed by the studio specifically for the campaign.

A reward you will not find anywhere else. Enthariel Games, a 9-person independent team that has funded the project entirely out of its own pocket, designed the console just for its Kickstarter backers. A short video published yesterday gave the first look at it, and it joins the campaign as a reward available only through Kickstarter.

After several months of pre-production and early development, the studio says the core systems are already up and running, with plenty of content and fine-tuning still ahead. The funds raised will support the team through the final part of development and be invested in the areas that will elevate the result, taking the studio from part-time to full-time work on the game.

It all starts with a loss. Players step into the role of Kael, a Celestial who has been soulbonded to Aeris for centuries. When Aeris vanishes, Kael sets out to find them, a search that leads to the forging of the first Nori pact and a farewell to Celestia. The journey crosses four stacked planes, Celestia, Noreth, the Depths, and Infernia, connected by two invisible streams of mana, Iris and Umbra, and shaped by more than 2,000 years of broken history. That mana gives shape to the Noris, creatures with whom players establish magical contracts: the stronger the bond, the more they evolve and awaken new powers.

Every decision can cost you a friend. Combat is built around 3v3 turn-based battles in which the whole team shares a single mana pool. Each Nori carries two signature abilities plus a random third skill that changes every turn, drawn from a pool of 300+ abilities. Add 40+ relics with passive effects, consumables, and capture scrolls, and the result is a Nuzlocke-inspired loop where resource management matters as much as raw power. Fall in battle and a Nori is gone for good.

Try it before you back it. A public playtest is available on Steam and covers the first few hours of the adventure: all of Celestia, 60+ Noris to capture and evolve, and the area’s final boss, all with fully voiced cutscenes and a first sample of the soundtrack.

Three collaborators who helped shape the game are also backing the campaign:

  • Elesky, content creator and composer of the game’s original soundtrack. The Spanish pianist is known for her passionate interpretations of video game and anime music.
  • Mandy B. Blue, Poner mandy Blue as voice acress and narrator of the story.
  • Liners, the Argentine animation studio behind the game’s cinematic scenes, led by self-taught artist Kevin Soria, creator of Crunch, an animated series made entirely on his mobile phone with Latin voice actors such as Ale Graue and Octavio Rojas.
