The free demo of Frog Knight is open to everyone during the final days of Steam Next Fest, which wraps up on Monday, October 26.

This precision platformer, inspired by Jump King, sends a brave little frog and his talking sword up a cursed well, where the core trick is the bounce: strike floating orbs to launch upward, then chain tight jumps and perfect timing. With no checkpoints, a single slip can send our hero straight back down.

Upgrades such as Wall Jump and Power Bounce open new paths and help recover from a devastating tumble, all within a pixel-art fantasy world with a touch of humor.

The demo offers a slice of the climb, a ready-made challenge for streams and videos, while the full game is planned for Q4 2026, developed by Mechanical Maze and published by Plastic Frog.
