ASUS and Chip-con to Jointly Display 4.37GHz System at Computex Taipei 2003

Taipei, Taiwan; September 22, 2003 – ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (ASUS) and Chip-con ApS will showcase a 4.37GHz system built upon the ASUS P4C800 platform and Chip-con’s Mach II cooling system at Computex Taipei 2003. The unique configuration effectively accelerates the Pentium 4 3.2GHz+ processor, offering a gain of 36%.

The 4.37GHz system for Computex Taipei 2003 is an accelerated version of the standard 4.0GHz systems, which are commercially available through Chip-con. The 9% acceleration demonstrates the quality of ASUS motherboards as well as Chip-con’s cutting-edge cooling technology. The collaboration of the two companies has made possible frequencies not yet released by CPU manufacturers.

The revolutionary system is on display from September 22-26 at the ASUS company booth located at E148-E171, Hall 2 of the Taipei World Trade Center.
