First International Computer, Inc. (FIC), a world leader in the production and distribution of motherboards, graphics cards and PC systems, is introducing a new motherboard for Intel in May 2004. The FIC P4M-800M motherboard is designed for microATX and is based on VIA chipset PM800. Thanks to its performance and integrated graphics card S3 UniChrome Pro, the new motherboard produced by FIC represents an ideal solution mainly for office systems.
„As with other new models of motherboards produced by FIC, the P4M-800M is designed for the Intel Pentium 4 Prescott processor (FSB 800MHz),“ was what FIC CZ Development Manager Frantisek Dvorak had to say about the launch of the P4M-800M on the Czech market. The board also contains an AGP 8X slot, integrated sound card and GbE LAN. Its expansion is possible thanks to 3 PCI slots and 4 USB 2.0 connectors. The P4M-800M also holds a Microsoft certificate for being able to operate in Windows XP OS. „FIC P4M-800M is a motherboard feasible for all users who want to have sufficient performance on a small area at the acceptable price of 60 USD.“ Frantisek Dvorak adds.
