Tenebris Somnia plays like a classic survival horror in the spirit of Silent Hill or Resident Evil, but reimagined in an 8-bit retro world. You follow Julia, an Argentine woman searching for her ex-boyfriend, who instead finds herself trapped in a parallel nightmare stalked by horrible creatures.

The twist: at key story moments, the game cuts from pixel art to live-action cutscenes shot with real actors and practical effects by an award-winning film crew.
