Built with precision-formed SUS304 stainless steel panels, the QUBE 540 SPECIAL moves beyond traditional gaming-case aesthetics without compromising hardware compatibility, cooling flexibility or ease of use.

Its furniture-inspired proportions and polished exterior allow the system to complement the space around it while maintaining a distinctive visual presence. The chassis can be positioned vertically or horizontally, while the removable handle and modular I/O panel can be installed in multiple locations to keep the system practical in different configurations.

“More than a PC case” is the idea behind the design: a high-performance system that becomes part of the room rather than hardware that needs to be hidden away.

Built in Steel. Polished to Perfection

The QUBE 540 SPECIAL Stainless Steel uses SUS304 stainless steel for its exterior panels, providing corrosion resistance, rigidity and a premium material finish.

Two complementary surface treatments create a deliberate contrast. The 8K mirror-polished exterior reflects the lighting, colours and environment around the system, allowing each build to take on a different visual character. Inside, a matte hairline finish creates a more restrained appearance and helps make minor handling marks and everyday surface scratches less noticeable.

Keep the system understated for a clean architectural look, or add RGB lighting and expressive hardware to produce dramatic reflections across the chassis.

Precision Stainless-Steel Manufacturing

Stainless steel places different demands on manufacturing than conventional PC-case materials. It requires dedicated tooling, carefully controlled forming processes and precise surface preparation, particularly because mirror polishing makes even minor imperfections more visible.

For the QUBE 540 SPECIAL Stainless Steel, Cooler Master refined its stamping, bending and forming parameters through a 12-stage production process. Each stainless-steel panel is formed as a single piece to reduce unnecessary seams, while cleaning between key stages removes dust and impurities before the next manufacturing step.

The result combines the strength and corrosion resistance of stainless steel with the clean geometry and flexible architecture of the QUBE 540 platform.

A Layout That Adapts to the Build

The QUBE 540 SPECIAL Stainless Steel can be positioned vertically or horizontally to suit the available desk or floor space.

The removable handle and modular I/O panel can be installed in multiple locations, allowing users to maintain convenient access to the system when changing its orientation. The extensively perforated chassis also creates multiple airflow paths around the installed hardware.

Cooling configurations can be adapted to the build. The front, top and bottom can each support radiators up to 360 mm when the I/O panel is not installed in the corresponding location. A 120 mm radiator can also be installed at the rear.

Despite its clean proportions, the chassis supports ATX motherboards, graphics cards up to 415 mm long without front fans installed and CPU air coolers up to 172 mm tall.

Key Features

  • SUS304 stainless-steel construction: Precision-formed stainless-steel panels provide corrosion resistance, structural rigidity and a premium material finish.
  • 8K mirror-polished exterior: The highly reflective surface responds to the lighting, colours and hardware surrounding the system.
  • Matte hairline interior: The contrasting internal finish creates a more restrained appearance and helps make everyday scratches and handling marks less noticeable.
  • Designed for modern living: Furniture-inspired proportions and clean geometry allow the case to complement gaming rooms, studios, workspaces and contemporary living environments.
  • Flexible orientation: The chassis can be used vertically or horizontally, with the handle and I/O panel installable in multiple locations.
  • Broad hardware compatibility: Supports ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, CPU coolers up to 172 mm tall and graphics cards up to 415 mm long without front fans installed.
  • ATX and SFX power-supply support: Accommodates power supplies up to 200 mm long, or up to 140 mm when bottom fans are installed.
  • Configurable cooling: Supports radiators up to 360 mm at the front, top and bottom, subject to I/O-panel placement, plus a 120 mm rear radiator. One 120 mm rear fan is pre-installed.
  • High-speed modular connectivity: Includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port supporting up to 20 Gbps, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports supporting up to 5 Gbps and a 3.5 mm headset combo jack.
