Philips partners with Ingram Micro for distribution of 3D displays in Continental Europe

Eindhoven, The Netherlands – Philips 3D Solutions and Ingram Micro have signed a distribution agreement that enables the world’s largest technology distributor Ingram Micro to distribute the Philips 3D displays in Continental (or mainland) Europe.

By partnering with Ingram Micro as a decoupling point for Continental Europe, Philips can establish optimized order fulfillment– and logistical processes of the 3D displays, leading to faster delivery times and more flexibility for resellers, vendors and other system integrators. Furthermore, by addressing the large network of Ingram Micro’s resellers and vendors, Philips can establish intensive reach and scale in mainland Europe rapidly.

Although Ingram Micro will take over the logistical and order fulfillment process in continental Europe to a large extent, Philips 3D Solutions will remain closely connected to end customers, special projects and dedicated application areas.
