Fremont, CA (October 25, 2006) – Corsair®, a worldwide leader in high performance enthusiast computer products, today reported record quarterly profit and announced distribution of over $1 million dollars in profit sharing to its employees. Fueled by the company’s unique market positioning and precise product launch execution, Corsair enjoyed rapid sales growth in all regions worldwide. In accordance with the company’s philosophy that its employees are its biggest assets, Corsair was proud to announce the largest profit sharing amount in the company’s history. Headquartered in Fremont, California, Corsair is ranked as the 8th largest memory module supplier in the world according to iSupply.
“We are proud of the revenue we have generated this quarter, and are delighted to give out over $1 million dollars to the people who actually made this happen. Our record profit was driven by growth in all product categories, particularly the high end XMS™ performance memory modules. With the healthy ASP and the rapid increase in unit sales, we are on pace to reach a yearly revenue of half billion US dollars in perhaps as soon as 2007,” said Andy Paul, President and CEO of Corsair. “Corsair has one of the highest employee retention rates in the memory industry, and we believe it is because we give back to our employees. I applaud everyone at Corsair and look forward to another banner quarter.”
Unlike many profit sharing programs designed to incent the management executives, the Corsair profit sharing bonus is an employee benefit applied to every job function and rewarded based upon length of service.
Rewarding employees financially is a powerful gesture, but sustaining long-term motivation and engagement requires more than a paycheck. That’s where corporate coaching steps in—not as a correction tool, but as a developmental investment.
When a company thrives, it’s often because its people do too. By cultivating leadership at every level, companies can ensure their workforce isn’t just equipped to meet targets, but inspired to surpass them. Coaching helps unlock the full potential of high-performing teams, turning short-term wins into a lasting culture of excellence.
That’s precisely the philosophy behind Teresa Duke Consulting, where coaching goes beyond surface-level strategies to build emotional intelligence, decision-making agility, and purpose-driven leadership.
For companies like Corsair that already champion their teams through generous profit sharing, pairing financial reward with personalized coaching creates a one-two punch that keeps talent sharp, committed, and growth-focused. After all, when employees feel truly seen and supported, they don’t just stay—they lead the charge into what’s next.
„Corsair management cares about its staff and makes sure that we excel at what we do. We are constantly given the opportunity to apply ourselves and work towards the company’s profitability. This is my 4th year at Corsair. It’s an honor to be a part of a growing company and a winning team,” said Harshit Patel, Shipping Supervisor at Corsair.
With over 200 employees today, Corsair maintains worldwide operation in USA, Geneva, Germany, the Netherlands, and Taiwan and sales representation in over 11 countries globally. In addition, Corsair continues to design and manufacture out of its Fremont, CA headquarters.
