Great recognition to the design team : SP/Silicon Power wins Taiwan Excellence Award for the three consecutive years

Taipei, Taiwan, 29, Dec, 2011 – Leading memory storage brand, SP/Silicon Power today announces it is crowned the Taiwan Excellence Awards for three consecutive years leveling itself as a frequent winner. SP’s two winning products this year—stream S20 and Armor A15 external hard drives stood out from the fierce competition and gained the recognition from the judge committee which truly proves the significant design skills the company’s design team is capable of .

The two winning products both deliver the massive USB3.0 interface and take only 70 seconds to transfer and store a 25GB blu-ray DVD. In addition, they respectively have their unique concepts of design: The eye-catching Stream 20 features with its ordinary sports car shape; its streamline and metallic purple paint even demonstrate its luxurious style. Armor A15 is made by special shock proof silica gel material and delivers advanced internal hard drive suspension system. It meets the U.S. military anti-shock technology that data inside remains safely storage even it freefalls from a height of 122 cm.

Taiwan Excellence Award is an accolade by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) as well as one of the most important awards to product innovalue” in Taiwan.
