Built on the heterogenous compute architecture of Snapdragon XR1, Glass features a multicore Central Processing Unit (CPU), Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) and Qualcomm® AI Engine. These technologies deliver significant power savings for superior battery life and thermal efficiency for enhanced performance and support for computer vision, low power video capture and advanced machine learning capabilities.

“Qualcomm Technologies built Snapdragon XR1 to deliver high-quality experiences, and we are delighted to see Google optimize the platform and offer a strong solution to help increase productivity for enterprise workers,” says Hugo Swart, head of XR, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. “Glass’ small, lightweight form-factor, and low power enabled by XR1 allows workers to wear it for extended periods of time.
