MONTECH Launches the SKY TWO GX – a Classic Evolved with Extreme Performance

Taipei, Taiwan – MONTECH, a PC components and peripherals provider, announces an extreme version of the popular SKY TWO with an airflow-focused E-ATX case – the SKY TWO GX. The case supports up to 11 fans (3 pre-installed AX140 PWM ARGB) and the top clearance is increased to accommodate 66mm radiator thickness and has 25mm space for cable management. The SKY TWO features a 51% porosity mesh design on its front, top panel, and side of the PSU chamber. Support has been improved for high-end components, making this an extreme performance case starting at only US$89.

User Feedback Inspired

​MONTECH has refined the GX edition to achieve enhancements based on insights from the original SKY TWO users. The height at the top has been increased by 10mm, which allows it to accommodate radiators with a thickness of 66mm. A 5mm increase on the backside of the case for cable management, expanding the spacing to 25mm. The glass panel has been improved with a beautifully designed handle and hinge for easy swivel access. The lower-side mesh panel is also available for quick access to the bottom chamber.

Extreme Airflow

​With an emphasis on the most optimal airflow, the SKY TWO GX comes pre-installed with three MONTECH AX140 PWM ARGB cooling fans. The case also adopts an easy-to-remove magnetically mounted mesh front panel with an impressive 51% porosity rate, ensuring excellent airflow, and exhausting hot air efficiently while maintaining a sleek and minimalistic aesthetic. High-efficiency mesh can also be found at the top panel, and the left side of the PSU chamber.

Optimized Compatibility

​The SKY TWO GX accommodates up to 11 x 120mm cooling fans, providing sufficient airflow for optimal cooling performance. The SKY TWO GX supports up to 360mm on both the top and bottom, and CPU coolers with a maximum height of 168mm. This case can also mount GPUs up to 400mm in length, enabling users a wide range of options.

Modular Approach

​Located right beside the motherboard mounting location, an easy-to-remove side cover provides modularity to the SKY TWO GX. This multi-function cover enables the case to house up to SSI-EEB server-grade motherboards, a mounting space for extra storage, and can be removed to make space for installing two 120mm cooling fans on the side.
