There’s a cat stuck in a jar, and it’s about to become your problem: Jarred Defense, a difficult maze-building tower defense from solo Czech developer Mikolas Zuza, launches on Steam on September 22.
Yuki is a cat trapped in a teleporting jar, and rogue robots keep finding her wherever she appears.
It’s your job to protect her: place towers directly into enemy paths, force waves through longer routes, and turn the maze itself into your main weapon.
There are no predefined tower spots and no single correct solution, so most of the fun comes from finding your own way through each level.
It’s all wrapped around a 4-6 hour story campaign, with a level editor and community maps to dig into once you’re done.
