Cooler Master US$10,000 KODE5 Video Shootout

Taipei, Taiwan – Cooler Master, a Kode 5 global supporter, is pleased to announce yet another exciting challenge – the Cooler Master $10,000 KODE5 Video Shootout! This contest gives gamers the opportunity to submit their best gaming-related videos for a chance to win not only some kick-ass Cooler Master gear, but also travel and accomodations to the KODE5 2007 Global Finals!

Entering the contest is easy.
From October 01st, 2007 to Feburary 01st, 2008, users are invited to sign up for a free account on Cooler Master’s official webpage (www.coolermaster.com). Then, users create a video and submit it to a video streaming site, such as YouTube or Google Video. The video must be gaming-related and at least three minutes in duration. Then, they can go to the contest page and fill in the contest form. Beginning in October, Cooler Master will view and judge all submitted videos once a month, and award prizes to the categories of: Best Screenplay, Best Visual Effects and Audience Popularity Award.

US$ 8500 in Prizes
Not good at creating videos? Not to worry! Cooler Master will also be awarding prizes to the most active participants. There are even lucky draws each month for anyone who’s participated!

Trip to KODE5 2007 Global Finals (approx US$ 1500)
On February 01st, 2008, the participant with the best submitted video will win a trip to the KODE5 2007 Global Finals, courtesy of Cooler Master (approx. $1500 in value)! It will be a chance to see the world’s best gamers duke it out for the title of KODE5 2007 Global Champion live and in person. In total, over $10,000 in total prizes are up for grabs. This is one contest gamers cannot afford to miss!
