GIGABYTE StarCraft II Cup Season 2 Is Heating Up!!

Taipei, Taiwan, 9th Nov, 2011 – GIGABYTE Technology, a world leading manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards has launched their second season of GIGABYTE StarCraft® II tournament series for eight weeks.“RGNartist” has just won the battle in tournament #8 this week and “Nerchio” is the highest ranking point gamer up to now! “Grubby” is just close behind!

Found that the ranking point is also a battle ground for all the gamers, GIGABYTE decides to add an extra prize for the top ranking score winner in the Grand Final! GIGABYTE is going to give away a “GIGABYTE StarCraft II Cup – Top Ranking Winner” pack which including a G1.Sniper and Corsair Force Series™ GT 120GB SATA 3 6Gb/s (CSSD-F120GBGT-BK)!

GIGABYTE StarCraft II season 2 consists of 13 tournaments, played on a weekly basis. Players from all over the world will be able to compete for the prize money of 150 EUR each week and in addition gain ranking-points in order to qualify for a final tournament with a prize pool of 850 EUR and additional hardware by GIGABYTE! The tournaments take place each Monday with up to 512 players and start at 18:00 CEST. Anyone is welcome to sign up in the tournament and compete against the best StarCraft® II players on the European Battle.net® server! The second season is broadcasted by high-class live video-streams in order to provide the best possible coverage for the gaming community every week!

• starts each Monday at 18:00 CEST
• 13 qualification tournaments
• Top 8 players get qualification points
• Live broadcasting of the best matches
• Hardware raffles during the course of the tournament series
