Die ASUS EAH5870 kann vor allem im 3DMark-Test ihr volles Potentail zeigen, dort ist sie im „Extreme-Modus“ fast 80 % schneller als eine Radeon HD 4890. Bei den Spielebenchmarks sind es hingegen nur bis zu 20 %. Deutlicher abheben wird sie sich nur bei schnelleren CPUs bzw. erst bei zukünftigen Titeln, die auch DirectX 11 unterstützen.
