If you’re looking to add fast, quick, wired networking to an existing USB-equipped system, the Sabrent USB-C to 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet (2.5GbE) adapter (NT-25GA) is an easy choice. It supports speeds of up to 2.5Gbps for up to at least 100 meters of Cat5e or better cabling for compliant network equipment.

It’s backward compatible and supports all of the necessary standard features such as Wake-On-LAN (WOL), UEFI PXE boot support for compatible systems, and much more. For maximum performance, we recommend using the adapter with a 5Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 1×1) port or faster with the integrated USB-C cable.

This adapter is plug-and-play and bus-powered, with no external power source required. It’s designed to be portable but rugged as an external device: its aluminum construction is lightweight but durable, and that also helps maintain optimal thermal performance. LED indicators denote the connection and speed status at a glance. Multiple operating systems are supported out of the box, but drivers may be downloaded for Windows, macOS, Linux, and for UEFI UNDI. Please read the included manual and visit our site for more information and additional technical details.

Multi-Gig USB Ethernet: Quickly and easily add a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet (2.5GbE) port to any system over USB. Designed for USB 3.0 (5Gbps/USB 3.2 Gen 1×1) or faster for maximum speed, it supports Wake-On-LAN and other common features.

Speed At A Distance: It achieves up to 2.5Gbps for transfers over 100 meters or more of Cat5E cable or better with compliant network hardware. It uses the IEEE 802.3bz and 2BASE-T/2.5GBASE-T standards and is backward compatible. Everything is tracked via LEDs.

Built To Last: We designed this adapter to handle the rigors of travel, and the integrated USB-C cable keeps things simple. It’s built with aluminum for added durability, portability, and superior heat dissipation during sustained operation.

Simplicity: It’s bus-powered, eliminating the need for an external power source. It will work with many devices as is, but driver support for the Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems is available—also, UEFI UNDI and PXE boot for compatible systems.
