Indie game development studio Amplified Games has announced that Polterguys: Possession Party is available now on Xbox for free until July 13 as part of “Free Play Days“. The game is out on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, and Steam.

Polterguys: Possession Party is a supernatural multiplayer party game where up to 8 players become mischievous ghosts, using sabotage and strategy to get each other caught by a terrifying monster. Set in spooky, trap-filled maps, players can possess everyday objects to gain unique powers and blend into the chaos, all while showing off their ghostly flair.

Possession is your main weapon—animate objects to dodge, escape, or fight back as chaos unfolds. The game thrives on wild, unpredictable combat as players outwit both each other and the roaming monster, making every match a fast-paced and hilarious brawl for survival.

Sabotage is the heart of the fun. Use clever tricks and whacky power-ups to lure rivals into danger, turning the monster into your personal weapon. With plenty of traps and surprises across the levels, only the craftiest ghost will haunt their way to victory.
