Speakeasy Simulator Launches in Q1 2026 on Steam

Game publisher Bluelily Games and independent development studio Arcana Games have announced that Speakeasy Simulator, a Prohibition-era management simulation, will launch on Steam in Q1 2026. A free playable demo of the game is currently available.

Set during the height of Prohibition in 1923 in the USA, Speakeasy Simulator challenges players to build and manage an underground bar and distillery, producing illegal alcohol, serving demanding customers, expanding operations, and staying one step ahead of the law. From crafting spirits to decorating the perfect speakeasy, every decision can mean the difference between thriving in secrecy or getting busted.

In Speakeasy Simulator, players oversee the entire operation: sourcing ingredients, distilling alcohol, designing their bar and laboratory layouts, and choosing whether to sell in bulk to the mafia for quick cash or per glass to a loyal local clientele. Outside, police patrols roam the streets, forcing players to carefully plan smuggling routes and risk management—especially at night.

Speakeasy Simulator is being developed by a small indie team of two programmers who aim to shape the game alongside its community. Player feedback will play a central role throughout development, directly influencing new systems, features, and overall balancing.

At release, the game is offering approximately 8 to 12 hours of gameplay, depending on playstyle. Players can already produce and sell alcohol, manage their bar and laboratory, increase their reputation, manage clients expectations, decorate their speakeasy, and navigate the constant risk posed by police patrols.

Future updates will also introduce advanced alcohol production such as aging and maceration. The progression system will also feature employees unlocking and management. Corruption systems, such as bribing law enforcement, will be added to the game. And of course, balance, polish, and quality-of-life improvements driven by community feedback.
