About the Game

Agricola – The King’s Farmer is a challenging medieval farming and economic management game. Players begin as a humble farmer with a small plot of land and limited resources. Through careful planning, smart investments, and perseverance, they cultivate fields, raise livestock, breed horses, manage finances, hunt for resources, and expand their estate — all in pursuit of a single ambitious goal: to become king.

Inspired by legendary C64 and Amiga titles such as Kaiser, Die Fugger, and Winzer, the game embraces the unforgiving difficulty of that era while introducing modern design systems to keep players engaged and motivated.

Developer Statement

Back in the day, games were brutally hard and nearly impossible to master. Agricola – The King’s Farmer preserves that feeling — failure is part of the experience. But unlike the originals, we’ve paired that challenge with a well-thought-out level-up and bonus card system that keeps motivation high and rewards persistence. We want players to feel the thrill of finally becoming king after many hard-fought attempts.“ — Anton Sikora, kann zaubern
