AMD: Turbo Dock für Tablets 
Verlängert Akkulaufzeit und erhöht Leistung
AMD stellt in Barcelona auf dem Mobile World Congress 2013 sein Turbo Dock für Tablets vor. Es handelt sich allerdings noch um einen Prototypen. Fertige Produkte könnten Mitte des Jahres erscheinen. Das Turbo Dock soll nicht nur die Akkulaufzeit, sondern auch die Leistung eines angedockten Tablets verbessern. Das zum Turbo Dock gehörige Tablet bietet ein Display mit 13 Zoll Diagonale und 1920 x 1080 Bildpunkten. Zudem ist ein Quad-Core auf AMD-Temash-Basis integriert. Angedockt sollen Tablet und Turbo Dock gemeinsam die Leistung eines vollwertigen Notebooks erreichen.
