GIGABYTE StarCraft II Cup Season 2 is Kicking Off!

Taipei, Taiwan, 23th September, 2011 – GIGABYTE Technology, a world leading manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards is proud to announce the second season of the GIGABYTE StarCraft® II tournament series. GIGABYTE decided to enlarge their support of eSports and is excited for the tournament series to be continued on Blizzard Entertainment’s European Battle.net® servers.

The second tournament season consists of 13 tournaments, played on a weekly basis. Players from all over the world will be able to compete for the prize money of 150 EUR each week and in addition gain ranking-points in order to qualify for a final tournament with a prize pool of 850 EUR and additional hardware by GIGABYTE! The tournaments take place each Monday with up to 512 players and start at 18:00 CEST. Anyone is welcome to sign up in the tournament and compete against the best StarCraft® II players on the European Battle.net® server! The second season will be broadcasted by high-class live video-streams in order to provide the best possible coverage for the gaming community.

• 2nd place: 50 EUR
