Maiden of the Dark Two Weeks on Kickstarter

We just want to remind you that the Kickstarter campaign for Maiden of the Dark, a retro-inspired action-platformer for the Game Boy, has been live for two weeks.

Thanks to the support of 86 backers, we have reached 70% of the original goal ofan amount of $10k USD.

If the funding goal of $10k USD is reached, Maiden of the Dark will be produced as a physical Game Boy cartridge, complete with a manual and collectible game box—bringing TigerChainsaw Studios’ debut title to life for retro gaming fans worldwide.

Maiden of the Dark is an immersive game that takes players through ten perilous levels across mountains, forests, caves, villages, and rivers, mastering combat, boss fights, and precision platforming to a heavy-metal soundtrack.

Set in feudal Japan, the story follows a summoned spirit with only ten hours of night to defeat the warlord Zankoku and his shoguns before sunrise ends her power.

Players face the defensive tactician Yoroi, the swift assassin Shiruku, and the ruthless warlord Zankoku, with a hidden character, Teixeira, offering a special reward.
