The Driver: From Whitsunday Karts to Global Tracks

Jure Portelli is one of Australia’s most promising motorsport talents, defined by a rapid ascent from local karting to the international stage. After beginning her journey in 2021, she dominated the regional circuit with 20 wins and 30 podiums in a single year. This success led to her selection as one of only eight girls globally for the FIA Girls on Track – Rising Stars program, where she trained with the Ferrari Driver Academy in Italy.

Most recently, Jure made history as the first Australian accepted into the prestigious Suzuka Honda Racing School. Demonstrating the elite skill set that has come to define her career, Jure successfully graduated from the Step 1 program and has progressed into Step 2—a feat achieved by only 10 of the original 30 participants. With a breakthrough podium finish in the Kyojo Vita at Fuji Speedway, she is firmly positioned as a rising force in professional racing. Her sights are now set on the 2026 championship season, where she aims to leverage elite-level sim training to transition into the highest tiers of international formula and GT racing.

The Setup: Professional Gear for Professional Practice

Under this agreement, Thermaltake ANZ is equipping Portelli with a comprehensive sim racing ecosystem to support her professional practice and promotional activities.

  • GR500 Sim Racing Cockpit: A high-performance setup including the cockpit and all necessary peripherals.
  • Custom-Built PC: A specialized system featuring Thermaltake components optimized for demanding sim racing software of the Partner’s choice.
  • Integrated Branding: The partnership will be highly visible, with Thermaltake logos featured on Portelli’s race car, suit, helmet, and the trailer used for her sim setup.

Where Virtual Precision Meets Real-World Performance

While many sponsorships focus solely on branding, this collaboration treats sim racing as a vital extension of professional driver development. Thermaltake is more than just a logo on a car; our hardware serves as a foundational tool for Portelli’s training and professional practice.

By bringing the GR500 Sim Racing Setup into the hands of a driver who competes at the highest levels in Japan and Australia, we are demonstrating that our sim racing line is built for the demands of professional-grade practice. Portelli will represent the brand at racing events, sharing her authentic experience with fans through videos and live demonstrations.

Beyond the Screen

This partnership is rooted in transparency and a mutual desire to support the sim racing community. Both parties are committed to creating content that highlights the intersection of digital and physical racing, from practice sessions to major competition recaps.
