HTC plant mit dem Ville ein neues Smartphone, das direkt mit Googles Android 4.0 ausgeliefert wird. Im Inneren steckt ein Snapdragon-Dual-Core mit 1,5 GHz Takt. Das 4,3-Zoll-Display basiert auf Super-AMOLED-Technik und bietet eine Auflösung von 960 x 540 Bildpunkten. Mit an Bord ist eine 8-Megapixel-Kamera. Das Ville soll weniger als 8 mm dick sein und damit Apples iPhone 4S (9,3 mm) sowie Samsungs Galaxy S II (9,91 mm) ausstechen. HTCs Ville erscheint vermutlich im April 2012. Mitte Februar will der Hersteller das Smartphone auf dem Mobile World Congress offiziell vorstellen.
