TRUSTA, the enterprise storage brand of memory leader ADATA, announced its first-ever participation in the Open Compute Project APAC Summit, the annual technical conference for the open compute industry in Asia-Pacific region, debuts in Taiwan this year, gathering industry leaders to focus on innovations in data centers and AI infrastructure. In collaboration with FADU, a leading enterprise SSD controller brand, TRUSTA is showcasing their latest technological achievements, presenting a key solution for the sustainable development of data centers in the AI era.
TRUSTA Emphasizes SSD Power Efficiency Amid AI Boom and Corporate Sustainability Challenges
With the explosion of AI applications, data centers are facing unprecedented storage pressure. Since 2012, the computing power required for large language models has grown 4.7 times annually. Industry forecasts indicate that by 2030, the data volume for AI inference will surpass that of training data by 3.8 times, with energy consumption demand reaching 1.65 times that of 2023. At the same time, generative AI is accelerating the widespread adoption of synthetic data to surpass real-world data. The resulting data explosion—combined with the 24/7 operation of modern data centers—is intensifying the conflict between technological innovation, energy demand, and carbon emissions. In light of this, Jeffery Lee, Vice President of Enterprise Application at ADATA, stated, „TRUSTA emphasizes a performance standard based on ‚IOPS/Watt‘ or ‚Bandwidth/Watt‘. This standard focuses on the balance between performance and power consumption under heavy workloads, helping customers make smarter procurement decisions based on objective data. It will ultimately reduce data center operating costs and help enterprises achieve their carbon neutrality goals.“
TRUSTA Unveils 1.6x More Efficient PCIe 5.0 SSD among same class for AI Workloads
To meet the stringent demands of AI and cloud computing for memory and storage, TRUSTA leverages ADATA’s manufacturing strength as a global leader in DRAM and SSDs, combined with FADU’s innovative SSD controller design, to provide customers with a complete solution from DRAM to NAND storage. TRUSTA’s comprehensive portfolio includes not only high-performance enterprise SSDs but also server-grade DDR5 R-DIMM memory modules, offering speeds up to 6,400 MT/s and capacities from 32GB to 128GB per module. Its SSD lineup ranges from the flagship PCIe 5.0 and mainstream PCIe 4.0 to SATA III, and supports diverse form factors such as U.2, E1.S, E3.S, and M.2, making it adaptable to a wide array of server architectures and workloads. The spotlight product at the summit, the T7P5 PCIe 5.0 SSD, delivers blazing-fast read/write speeds of 13,500 / 10,300 MB/s. Its power efficiency, tested at 447 MB/s per Watt, is 1.6 times that of competing products in the same class. With a Drive Writes Per Day (DWPD) rating of up to 3, the T7P5 highlights TRUSTA’s commitment to products with higher durability and performance. It is ideal for write-intensive workloads such as AI/ML model training, Online Transaction/Analytical Processing (OLTP/OLAP), big data exchange, and graphics processing, offering an ideal choice for enterprises to balance sustainability, performance, and cost management while pursuing innovation.
