ADATA Technology has, for the first time, participated in the 2025 Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA) – Comprehensive Performance Category and, with its proactive ESG actions and outstanding performance, was honored with the Outstanding Corporate Sustainability Award. The recognition affirms ADATA’s solid achievements in sustainability governance.
“ADATA’s business performance this year is clear for all to see. At the same time, we have returned to our original intention and focused on ESG actions,” said Simon Chen, Chairman of ADATA Technology. “We have made significant progress in building a happy workplace, giving back to society, and advancing net‑zero initiatives. I believe a company’s true stature is not only reflected in its revenue, but more importantly in its commitments to people, society, and the planet. Only by aligning business momentum with social and environmental responsibilities can we move steadily toward long‑term value.”
Talent as the Core Strength: Building an Inclusive, Happy Workplace
ADATA believes that talent is the cornerstone of sustainable development, and that corporate growth should go hand in hand with employee well‑being. This year, ADATA was named one of HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work for in Asia for the sixth time, and for the fourth consecutive year was recognized by Great Place to Work™ as one of the Best Workplaces in Taiwan.
Globally, ADATA continues to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion. Recently, the company was further recognized with titles including: “Best Workplace in Mexico”, “Best Workplace for Women in Mexico”,”2025 Greater China Best Workplaces.” Amid globalization and generational shifts in the workforce, ADATA is building stronger employee relations through open communication and understanding, cultivating a workplace culture that is resilient, innovative, and caring. By enhancing employees’ long‑term competitiveness through people‑centric initiatives, ADATA turns “talent sustainability” from a slogan into an everyday practice and a living part of its corporate culture.
ADATA Hummingbird Carries Hope, Lighting Up the Future for Children Worldwide
Returning to the starting point of talent cultivation, ADATA has long been committed to public welfare in fundamental education. This year, the Global Hummingbird Fund has continued to spread its wings across the world.
In Taiwan, ADATA continues to sponsor sports teams in rural areas, becoming a strong support system for more than 300 underprivileged children and helping them find confidence through sports. At the same time, the company has brought the ADATA Science Classroom program to elementary schools in semi‑urban areas that often lack resources, offering basic science courses and creating more equitable learning opportunities.
For the third consecutive year, ADATA has also supported the PAS VEX Signature Robotics Asia Open held in Taiwan and sponsored two elite school robotics teams—from Our Lady Of Providence High School in New Taipei City and Nanke International Experimental High School in Tainan City—helping outstanding local students connect with the international stage, broaden their horizons, and accumulate valuable learning experiences.
ADATA’s overseas employees are likewise deeply engaged in their local communities, delivering resources to where they are needed most. In the United States, employees prepared gift packages for children affected by California wildfires. In Brazil, employees and their families organized youth‑friendly soccer matches in low‑income communities. In Mexico, ADATA sponsored the country’s first all‑female law student team to participate in an international competition in the United States, with employees personally seeing the team off and offering encouragement. In Argentina and Colombia, ADATA rallied suppliers and customers to help build new computer classrooms for children in need.
Innovating with Love: Inspiring Children to Draw a Better Future
In 2025, the ADATA Global Art Contest marks its eighth anniversary, under the theme “Innovate with Love, Embrace Our Planet.” Through an edutainment approach, the initiative promotes STEAM cross‑disciplinary education and creates opportunities for children to explore the world and discover their potential.
Each year, this rare parent‑child time integrates themes such as scientific thinking, aesthetic creativity, and environmental friendliness, providing a hands‑on, fun, and creative learning environment. The event nurtures a sense of responsibility toward nature and society and encourages families to turn the idea of protecting the Earth into tangible actions.
Advancing Net‑Zero with Partners, Expanding Sustainability Impact
Guided by its brand sustainability vision, “Innovate Today, Embrace Tomorrow,” ADATA has continued to strengthen its environmental efforts in 2025. The company once again partnered with Micron on tree‑planting and beach‑cleanup activities and, for the first time, took the stage at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30).
At COP30, ADATA shared its practices in leveraging AI to drive sustainability, and its active participation in international projects related to carbon credit development and nature‑based carbon sinks—moving from smart management toward the building of a green ecosystem and contributing to global net‑zero goals.
Looking back at ADATA’s ESG actions throughout the year, Chairman Simon Chen expressed special gratitude for the team’s dedication and said: “Just like the theme of our Art Contest, which encourages children to draw their imagined bright future, I hope ADATA will become a key driving force for sustainable development—bringing sustainability out of the realm of imagination and into everyday life, and creating a better world for the next generation.”
