Da die HD322HJ das neuste Stück Technik im Bereich der 3,5 Zoll Festplatten für Endkunden darstellt und uns leider Werte von aktuellen Kontrahenten in dieser Kapazitätsklasse fehlen, werden wir bei diesem Test von unserem Prinzip, nur Festplatten einer Kapazität miteinander zu vergleichen, abweichen und die Samsung SpinPoint F1 mit 320 GByte ausnahmsweise auch allen anderen bereits getesteten Festplatten gegenüberstellen.

Auch wenn es um das Kopieren von Daten innerhalb einer Partition geht, setzt die kleine 320 GByte SpinPoint F1 ähnliche Maßstäbe wie das 1 TByte Modell, welches durch seine drei Platter allerdings teilweise spürbar im Vorteil ist. Beide belegen konstant Platz Zwei bzw. Platz Eins.

Beim Kopieren von Daten zwischen zwei Partitionen zeigt sich das gleiche Bild wie schon beim vorigen Test. Die SpinPoint F1 Familie belegt Platz 2 und 1. Wie auch das große 1-TByte-Modell beeindruckt die Variante mit 320 GByte sogar mit einer Steigerung im Vergleich zu den Copy near Ergebnissen, während die Konkurrenz an Performance einbüsst.
